Der Wecker (German for The Alarm Clock) exists so that German-Americans may share their thoughts relating to personal experiences and understandings of the past, make inquiries, instill hope, and develop strategies geared toward perpetuating Germanic-American culture.

Our topics include events, swap/sales, family histories, and food, but we are by no means limited to those. There is even a German-language-only forum. You may ask questions, provide answers, and offer tidbits you find interesting. Get to know others who share your interests and let Der Wecker be your vehicle for extending kamaraderie within the German-, Swiss-, and Austrian-American community. It’s all about ideas and cooperation through networking.
